W. Jerome Stevenson
dungeon master
Jerome is a stage actor/director that has spent nearly three decades working in professional story-telling. From musicals to plays, comedies to drama, and playwrights ranging from William Shakespeare to August Wilson, Stevenson is an avid student of the art of crafting a good story. His love of D&D began when he nervously decided to create an adventure for his beloved wife, Jennifer as a gift for her birthday.
That first session planted the spark for D20 to Curtain. In addition to his love of D&D, plays, playwrights, actors, books, music, and podcasts, Jerome is a fan of essentially all types of story-telling including the Marvel films, Survivor, Star Wars, The Gilmore Girls, Arrested Development, all things Joss Whedon, FRIENDS, the West Wing, and the list goes on. Jerome, a self-proclaimed 'DM in Training', makes no bones about the fact that elements of his many fandoms find their way into his adventures he runs.

JENNIFER BARTON-Stevenson
cast member
Fifteen-year-old Jennifer Barton-Stevenson discovered D&D in a dusty comic box at the foot of her friend Aaron’s bed. Wedged in between issues of WILDCats was a copy
of the Dragonlance campaign setting, and as Jennifer had been mooning over Raistlin Majere for years, she insisted she roll a character immediately. Her elven mage had just
three hit points and didn’t make it long. But a long term love affair with TTRPGs began.
Next came Emeraudia, a Dark Sun gladiator, followed by Indigone the battle bard, who accompanied Jennifer into her twenties. Her MtG angel deck is vicious, if not exactly tournament legal. A fantasy novel lover and devoted Jean Grey stan, Jennifer is also a published poet and former flutist. She majored in theater but wound up in finance. It seems a strange career path, but both do require a proficiency in Performance. In the real world, Jennifer is married to DM Jerome. For D20 to Curtain, she plays aasimar cleric Eula Reid, a young woman determined to bring joy and light to a dark world. To quote Raistlin, “Shirak!”

Kara-LYNn NEEL
cast member
Kara has always been a fan of whimsy and fantasy. In addition, she will freely admit that she has always been drawn to “nerdy” things since she was a young child. After spending her early childhood crafting fantasy games with family and friends, it was instant obsession when at age 13 she discovered Dungeons and Dragons. She was an inhabitant of that magical world from that moment right up to the present day. Kara's natural creativity and storytelling has continued to mature in her adult life. A celebrated Oklahoma artist, actress, vocal and dance performer, Kara has recently turned her attention to stage directing, costuming and design. She is currently writing an original stage musical. When invited to join the D20 to Curtain cast, she was excited to add another dimension to her creative journey. As the fantasy continues to unwind and unfold, Kara is thrilled to bear witness and go where the adventure takes her.
JODI NESTANDER
cast member
Jodi is a stage/voiceover actor and improvisor with thirty years of performance experience and twenty years of teaching experience. Jodi’s love of performance is rooted in a passion for connecting with audiences through the many characters she plays – either scripted or made up on the fly. While she is a newbie to the world of D&D, the concept of building a fantasy character that people can connect to lured her in and the opportunity to play in this world with people who are equally passionate about great story-telling made for a full-on theatre geek-out. When she’s not inventing characters and coming up with voices, Jodi loves reading, baking, and binge watching GoT, Handmaid’s Tale, The Good Place, Outlander, Buffy the Vampire Slayer & Angel (of course), The Office, HBO Documentaries, Barry, American Gods & Good Omens (Neil Gaiman is my jam), Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and really anything that will make her laugh and/or cry preferably in the same episode. She’ll watch almost any movie her friends recommend. Jodi is a proud Ravenclaw who firmly believes in the power of “Yes…and”. Her heroes include Wonder Woman, Mr. Rogers, Carol Burnett, and Susan Messing.
